Introduction to the BAIC Xiangjie Coating and Conveying Line Project

This project is located at the Beijing Miyun production base—a high-end, intelligent new-energy vehicle facility jointly developed by BAIC New Energy and Huawei. The Xiangjie Super Factory integrates internationally advanced manufacturing concepts and incorporates a range of cutting-edge smart manufacturing technologies across various industries. At the same time, it actively responds to the nation’s environmental protection policies and is committed to creating a green, low-carbon, and sustainable production environment.
The coating workshop is planned to have a production capacity of 120,000 units per year, with 45 JPH for pretreatment electrophoresis and 33 JPH for other processes.
The renovation of the painting workshop’s conveyor system includes upgrading the floor-mounted skid conveyor system, the IMC drying conveyor line, replacing the existing motors with IE4 high-efficiency motors, and replacing the lift conveyor belts and drainage device belts. Specifically, this involves 378 sets of belt-type roller conveyors, replacement of 153 motors, replacement of 8 sets of lift conveyor belts, replacement of 4 sets of drainage device belts, as well as 364 meters of IMC electrophoresis drying conveyor line and 357 meters of IMC topcoat drying conveyor line.
This adaptive retrofit ensures that, once completed, the facility will be able to support concurrent production of the newly introduced N80KS model alongside the workshop’s existing models, aiming for a comprehensive upgrade in intelligence, greenness, and flexibility.
